Vicidial is a suite of programs designed to interact with the Asterisk Open-Source PBX Phone system at a client computer level to extend the functionality of your phone and system. In order to use Vicidial, administrators have to edit asterisk configuration files manually. Which means each time if administrator wants to create users or change dialplans, he/she has to do modifications to asterisk configuration files manually. This is a tedious job.

Trixbox is a telephony application platform based on Asterisk Open Source PBX Software. The trixbox application platform makes it fast and simple to install and configure your business-class telephony system. Trixbox is basically CentOS bundled with many useful free telephony software. Trixbox has many useful features such as unlimited extensions, voicemail-to-email, music on hold, call parking, conferencing, SugarCRM, HUDLite, analog lines or high density T1/E1 circuits and many other features. Trixbox doesn't have good inbound and outbound call center solution such as vicidial.
