OpenSER

OpenSER is a mature, fast, high performance, scalable and flexible open source SIP server (RFC3261). OpenSER is a fork from SIP Express Router . OpenSER can work on limited resource systems as well as on carrier grade servers. OpenSER can support thousands of calls per second. OpenSER is fully customizable. OpenSER system can be easily scaled by adding more OpenSER servers. OpenSER can be used in geographic distributed VoIP platforms.

OpenSER can be used as any of the following:

  • SIP registrar server
  • SIP location server
  • SIP proxy server
  • SIP redirect server
  • SIP application server
  • SIP dispatcher server
  • Gateway to SMS/XMPP
  • Advanced VoIP application server
